5×11 – Kill Switch

Mulder’s FBI profile hacked into by rogue AI. My heart goes out to anyone trying to make sense of the X-Files timeline here, as the dates for when Mulder graduated from Oxford and attended Quantico contradict each other IN THE VERY SAME SHOT.

6×05 – Dreamland II

Mulder got his BA in Experimental Psychology from Oxford on July 31, 1986.

Some of Mulder’s awards, presumably from the office, pre-fire.

Mulder’s FBI profile as of December 12, 1998 when he was on General Assignment and reporting to Kersh. We can see here that Teena Mulder’s maiden name was Kuipers. The badge number, phone number, and address are a little cut off in this shot, but they are:

Badge #: JTT047101111
Address:  2630 Hegal Place, Apt. 42, Alexandria, VA 23242
Phone: (202)555-9355

Tiger Woods 99 PGA Golf Tour. Pretty sure this is the only time we ever see any kind of game being played on Mulder’s computer, though it’s unclear if it was Mulder or Morris Fletcher who actually installed it. (Probably Morris.)

6×09 – Tithonus

Scully’s department transfer paperwork from 1994. Scully was attending med school at the University of Maryland when she was recruited by the FBI.

Fowley’s FBI profile from when Scully and the Lone Gunmen try to dig up more information on her background.

7×11 – Closure

Paperwork from the Treasury Department’s investigation into Samantha’s disappearance. (Note the state abbreviation here is wrong; it should be MA, not MD. The zip code does put it in the correct city and state, however.)

The document officially calling off the search for Samantha when Scully finds the burnt remains of the original in Teena’s trash can, showing that CGB Spender had signed off on it. The corner was folded in on the photocopy on file, obscuring this information.

Pages from 14 year-old Samantha’s diary, written shortly before her death.

So many screens! Let’s get ready to check out the digital lives of Mulder and Scully. (I won’t be including ALL of the screens in this episode, because damn, that’s a lot of screens.)

Look, I know the sushi menu isn’t the most interesting thing in the episode, but I really like sushi, and I really like that Mulder and Scully like sushi. Also, Mulder’s touchscreen signature for his credit card.

Shots of Scully’s phone. Both Scully and Mulder are rocking Samsungs this season running some pseudo-Android OS.

The parking ticket that caused much timeline confusion, though the date is actually just a reference to writer Kristen Cloke and director Glen Morgan’s 20th wedding anniversary. (Kristen mentioned on Twitter that the date was not in the script, and she believes it was just a cute Easter egg put in by the art department.) The license plate number does match the one on his car in the episode, though.

Mulder’s laptop makes a reappearance, as well. He’s been using the same laptop since My Struggle, and it appears in a few episodes from Seasons 10 and 11.

Mulder’s credit card login and online statement. Obviously the credit card statement wasn’t meant to be looked at too closely. The amount charged at the sushi place doesn’t match what we saw on the payment screen in the restaurant. And how the hell do you get $194.35 out of an ATM?! Nice credit limit, though, Mulder.
